Well, we don't agree on much, but I applaud you for this stance. I'm very glad you were able to find someone who cherishes and accepts you and you're able to do the same for him.

And the harassment you received in school is horrible. I happen to think you're a strikingly beautiful woman. And don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Also, the fact that you're able to let these obnoxious comments, like 'putting you in your place,' is commendable. What "place" would that be? Your "place" is for you to decide.
