Thank you very much for your response. The response to me on reddit, as far as I can tell, is universally negative.

I feel this comes from a need to compartmentalize. There is a hierarchy of discrimination. And for me, as a white male, to dare compare my situation unfavorably to that of a black female, any black female, is an unforgivable offense.

To say that, on average, a black female experiences more discrimination than a gay white male might (or might not) be a true statement.

But to say all gay white males are more privileged than all black females is patently ridiculous.
