From the article: "In April, Cameron Herrin was sentenced to 24 years in prison after pleading guilty to vehicular homicide. Jessica Reisinger-Raubenolt and her 21-month-old daughter Lillia were struck by Herrin's car in 2018 while lawfully crossing a road in Tampa Bay."

From this article: "Jessica Reisinger Raubenolt and her daughter Lillia were trying to cross the street at West Knights Avenue in what police later described as a 'lawful crossing.'"
This is the reason I find Cameron's supporters so utterly sickening. Everyone cries for "poor boy" Cameron.
And they tell themselves they're compassionate. Well, Cameron's parents can still visit him. They can still share stories from home, write letters, offer support and encouragment.
Jessica's parents can't do any of that. And they had to do what no parents should ever have to do: bury their child. And their precious granddaughter.
Cameron's suffering and the suffering of his parents doesn't even remotely compare to what Jessica's parents are going through.
And let's not forget that Cameron is the one who killed them. Jessica didn't do anything wrong. Jessica's parents didn't do anything wrong. But Cameron was thoughtless, arrogant, selfish and entitled.
And everyone's sobbing, "Oh, poor, poor Cameron!"
And what about David Raubenolt, Jessica's husband? He comes home to an empty house that he used to share with his wife and daughter. But he's suffered a devastating loss that he will never recover from.
Because Cameron killed his wife and daughter.
I'm not seeing a whole lot of praying for the healing of Jessica's parents or her husband.
All I'm seeing is "Oh, poor, poor Cameron. We must pray for him! We must pray for healing for his family. "
And just to remind you of something. Jessica did nothing wrong. Her husband did nothing wrong. Her parents did nothing wrong.
And all your thoughts and prayers go to the man who killed Jessica and Lillia, and brought so much suffering to her families.
