Ever hear of the Peter Principle? The Peter Principle basically means that in an organized hierarchy, a person is promoted until he attains a level at which he is no longer competent.

If you’re good in your job, you get promoted. If you’re good in the new position, you will get promoted again. And this will keep on happening until you get promoted to a position at which you are no longer competent. “The cream rises until it sours.” — Lawrence Peter, author of “The Peter Principle.”

With this in mind, I find it utterly fascinating that you are incapable of understanding the idea that Ion may have (or may not have) been competent in his role during WotLK, this does not mean he’s competent as a Game Director.

Get logic.
