DiAngelo insists that when White people are confronted on whatever it is that makes them racist, they are only allowed to listen, apologize, resolve to do better. They are not allowed to explain or defend themselves if they feel they are being maligned or their actions have been distorted or misunderstood.

Yet she avers that it is White people who are fragile. Think about that. One side is not allowed to argue or defend themselves. Yet it is this side that DiAngelo would disarm who are the fragile ones.

I would argue that the fragile ones are the ones who can't tolerate any sort of response from the other side.

You can’t have a dialogue when one side is not being permitted to speak. It is not White people who are fragile if the other side demands to be the only one speaking.

I’m surprised you haven’t received a deluge of kafkatrap replies, “You’re just proving DiAngelo’s point!” or “It’s your White fragility that causes you to hate the phrase.”
